Get to know Kai Designs

When you're faced with adversity, do you run and hide or face it head-on? Kai Designs was created when we chose to face our adversity head on. For us, "Kai" (pronounced Ky) translates into "Kreated and Inspired by you," as a way to honor our son who faces physical and cognitive challenges. He's the friendliest, most down-to-earth person you'd ever meet, and has an eye for fashion; as he'll let you know when your fashion choices are not up to par. Our love and adoration for him is represented in each of our products. As a way to share this great love with each of you, we've designed our fashion and home decor accessories with love, compassion, and gratitude.

We adopted the butterfly as our logo, as it is representative of endurance, change, and hope. We are confident that your selected Kai Designs pieces are as significant to you, as they are to us.

In 2019 we introduced the swoochie™️ brand to our line. Swoochie™️ came about by accident. One day after completing my yoga session, I said, “whew! I need a shower. I can’t be walking around here with swoochie.” I’d meant to say “sweaty coochie” but inadvertently put the two words together :-) It was a that moment, I knew the line would be a part of Kai Designs.
